Hoop happenings: classes, jams & more!

Hoop Classes are a great way to build your skills in a progressive way, since many building block moves are necessary for more advanced sequences. Plus, hooping is so much fun in a space with high ceilings and no valuables to break, with great tunes and a group of like-minded hoop enthusiasts to learn & spin with! ;-)  Hoops are provided for use during the class.

The class is multi-level, lots of fun (an excellent core cardio body-rocking workout..if you know me :-)) and is 1 hour..but we usually go for longer.
Location: Ecole Secondaire de l'île, 255 St-Rédempteur, room 'La Palestre' enter by the 'Sportif' door. Class starts at 7! Et oui, le cours est en français (but can explain in english)...C'est beau la vie en Cerceau!

Hoop Jams

Hoop Jams occur twice each month on Friday nights during the Fall, Winter & Spring jams in the comfort of the Assembly Hall at Dovercourt Recreation Centre, equipped with mirrors, low light, high ceilings and a kick-ass sound system. This is a great chance to meet other Ottawa area hoopers. Hoops are provided, and we sometimes bring minis, twins and poi to try out. Come anytime between 6:30-8pm. All are welcome, but children must be supervised. Jams are not a class, but basic instruction will be given for those new to hooping.

Keep up with our classes, jams, performances, appearances, workshops and whereabouts via our Sirenhoops Google calendar.
